Chapter One
The Beginning
Whether you call it Luck or Grace, Salvaged With Grace was born from the depths of a complicated pregnancy and toxic career. Trying to hold it all together day by day. Desperately searching for hope, I began walking our farm with my boys. Strolling through the clover fields and taking in the calm. It wasn't long after that I noticed extraordinary four-leaf clovers popping up in our path. We found them everywhere, everyday magically appearing almost with purpose. I thought we were finding them, but the truth was, they were finding us. I never knew until then that four-leaf clovers not only represent Faith/ Hope/Love /Luck, but the four-leaf clover also represents The Holy Trinity. The Father, Son, & Holy Spirit and the four leaf is for GODS GRACE. Summer Days turned to fall, and those ever-present four-leaf clovers were tucked away nestled in between vintage book pages, awaiting their next life. I opened an Etsy shop just one month before our-once thought lost-baby girl was born. Healthy and perfect in every way, we welcomed our baby Grace the day after Christmas. She is the very definition of "God's Grace".
The next 9 years Salvaged with Grace evolved into searching, salvaging and creating. Auctions and old barns draw me in with the promise of the forgotten, the left behind. The treasure that you couldn't see. Giving it a touch of hope, a glimmer of faith, a whole lotta love and just a little luck at a second chance. I pair vintage with modern and old with new to offer you one-of-a-kind giftware, home decor, repurposed furniture, anything I can breathe new life into.
Chapter Two
Markets
In 2019 we stumbled into the possibility of hosting markets. I quit my retail job in July 2019 and brought you the first Fall Barn Sale that October with 15 makers in the top of our bank barn. Small and quaint quickly grew to 80 plus makers, food trucks an live music on our little farm. We now host The Summer Market and Fall Barn Sale every year...
Salvaged With Grace Vintage & Made Markets are a laid-back mix of dirt roads and country anthems with unforgivably authentic and talented artists. We want you to feel like you just came back home. Walk barefoot and feel the grass between your toes. Feel the energy and the calm all at the same time. Shop, eat, stroll or just sit and listen to the music.
Chapter Three
The Antique Shop
As the Markets grew every year, I felt more and more grateful. I was doing what i was meant to be doing. I loved hosting while creating at home with my family. I opened up my tiny little 10x10 Milkhouse as a small vintage and Made (Antique) shop. I pulled my Esty orders everyday and if someone wanted to shop, well, come on over. I was in a few other antique shops at the time, none of which was a perfect fit, not even the milkhouse as much as LOVED it.
I started casually looking at commercial buildings, knowing fully well I never wanted a Brick & Mortar. I never wanted to be tied down and clock in and out. I had my beautiful realtor friend amuse me with a few adventures to some really cool buildings. It got real, real fast when I made a vague FB post about a hypothetical antique shop..... and BOOOM Salvaged With Grace is now an Antique Shop in the heart of Downtown Columbiana. We are an 8000 sq ft shop nestled between Birdfish Brewery and the cutest downtown shops on Main st. We feature over 65 antique dealers and makers each offering their own take on the vintage and antique world.
